I never, ever, without a doubt liked Tonks, books or movie. She was pushy, whiny, petulant, and I suspect spoiled by her parents - most of my reasons for hating Ginny as well. Given Lupin's personality, it's a wonder he lasted as long as he did. He's so worried about people liking him, he'd do anything... even get together with a girl.
