dream wide, sister lj'ers

Just registered with something called dreamWIDTH under my lj username. I don't anticipate I'll ever use it, but when it comes to new sites, it's always best to promptly stake your claim under your favorite pseudonym. If you don't, someone may adopt your username, and then you're back to square one. I learned that the hard way on Twitter. It's a painful story. I don't want to talk about it.

Denise, the site owner? moderator? uberwench? posts fresh registration codes every so often. Good luck.

Oh, in other news, I heartily recommend Cowboys and Aliens. It's sci-fi and it's terribly violent, but if you dig the former and don't mind the latter, you're sure to enjoy it.

I'm there now, Jules babe. Oh, and I'm uploading As Morning Falls to Dropbox even as we speak. Hopefully, I'll have The Sensual World uploaded by tomorrow, but not, I fear, in time for your flight. I'll do me best, but I don't think I'll get but half the story mixed down before then.

I crosspost everything here from DW. I find their business practices and general policies much more sane than LJ's. (Not that it's exactly LJ's fault they were DDoSed yet again.) I feel good about giving them my money whereas on LJ I let my two accounts expire last year - after having been a paid user for something like eight years - because I finally found myself shaking my head one too many times.

DW evangelism out. Just saying it would be great if more people would post over there - everyone always says "it's too quiet" and then compounds the problem by not posting. ;)
