A plague on both your houses!

Hi! Welcome to my first Live Journal entry. While I settle in here, paint the walls, polish the floors, etc., I think I'll put up a conversation starter - a quiz I stole from the lovely Teddy Radiator. Later, I'll introduce myself properly.

I really dig quizzes. I especially love Harry Potter Sorting Hat quizzes because a) I am obsessed with the HP series, and b) I have been watching patiently for my letter from Hogwarts for years.

But these results are gonna get my ass kicked! The students of Hogwarts won't take kindly to me living in two Houses. I'd say more, but I don't want to give away the test for you. Take it, come back, and we can discuss it in the Comments section.

Your result for The Sorting Hat Test...

Slytherclaw

You scored 47% Order/Chaos, and 28% Moral/Rational

Rationality with an orderly/chaotic split. What you strongly know is that you try to be rational, objective, and like to consider things as shades of gray. On order, you see the value of rules and organization but equally can become impatient and advocate a rather loose system. Your strengths arise from your ability to consider both radicals and straightlaced authority objectively; however, it can turn on you when others feel betrayed by the fact that there are few you support unconditionally and consistently.

The 4-grid I used to determine this is as follows:

 ChaoticOrderly
MoralGryffindorHufflepuff
RationalSlytherinRavenclaw

Welcome! I heard you were the magic behind teddyradiator's stories, and I just had to stop by!

When I took that quiz, I was a Slytherin. I really liked the quiz because it wasn't obvious which answers were for which house. And it had more than four questions, and one of them wasn't "Which house would you want to be sorted into?"

It's sweet of her to say, but I don't know about that - Teddy's work has always been absolutely brilliant, even when I was a fanfic newbie and stalked her across the internet to LJ.

Yeah, I thought it was a good quiz, too. The questions on morality were thought-provoking. Aren't moral systems agreed upon by society, and as such, don't they change over time? Making them relative? I said yes, which is why I'm half Ravenclaw, half Slytherin - the relativist houses.
