Calling on angels

Does anyone else open Livejournal and get automatically redirected to an ad for a videogame featuring anime angels with wings and weapons and huge, long, flapping breasts? And have this happen every time you change pages?

Because it's happening to me. It's annoying. My antivirus program goes ballistic over it. Is it annoying enough to complain to LJ that I'm not heart-stoppingly happy with a free service?

If forcing ads on me once in a while will help LJ pay the bills, well, better those bills be paid by "LEAGUE OF ANGELS MOST ANTICIPATED GAME OF 2014," or whatever, instead of me. On the other hand, it might be the integrity of my hard drive on the line.

Oh, I don't want to go to work today. I think my boss hates me.

Ugh, sounds like a really obnoxious pop-up. Are you using Firefox? If so, I would add adblock to it and see if that gets rid of it.

They have breasts that defy gravity and other, worldly constraints. In fact, they don't need the wings at all; their mammary glands act as dirigibles.

Eveytime I've had something like that it's usually turned out to be a bit of malware. I use Avira Free for antivirus, Ccleaner to delete all those annoying files that populate my computer after a day of surfing, and Malwarebytes and Spybot Search and Destroy to scarffle the rest of the crud. If none of those fixes the problem, I take it to my computer guy so he can find root kits or other crap in the registry.

Have you got the popup blocker turned on?

I don't get popups on LJ, but maybe because I have a paid account. That does sound very annoying though. I hope you figure out how to get rid of it.

I JUST LITERALLY GOT THAT s*********** 2 SECONDS AGO AND SCREAMED WHY WHY WHY on the inside. My virus protection is topnotch too (as proven because this person likes to look at naughty stuff on my computer, no names though) so I don't think it's THAT but it was annoying.

I have seen the ad and it was not on LJ, but another site. Clearly they're a high-rotation ad! It couldn't be a flash ad cause I'm on the ipad and it doesn't play well with flash.
