Bravo Groom! Sometimes you just have to rip out the stuff you know to find the gems underneath - what a coup, finding hardwood!! That's going to be absolutely beautiful.

After this spring, only one room in our house will still have carpet, and that's ironically enough OUR guest bedroom. Eventually we'll get it ripped out, but our own bedroom is a priority. The cats have absolutely molested it, and it looks so awful we actually have a rug sitting on TOP of the carpet to hide it.
