The Homecoming dance was a great success by all accounts. Per somebody's request, here's my pretty girl in her dress. She picked out the shrug, borrowed a clutch, got one friend to do her hair and another friend do the eye makeup. She's such a Ravenclaw that way - always marshals her resources for optimum effect.

On the job front, I applied for that great big position. They immediately sent me a form letter saying thanks, and they reserve the right to fill the position at any time during next five years. Really? Five years? I'd better not hold my breath. Closer to reality, I have a job interview tomorrow. I also applied for a position I like better than tomorrow's, so I hope to hear positive things from them soon. I'm so thankful to be currently employed, with the luxury of really being able to look until I find something I like (and that likes me back).

How come my Facebook page loses subscribers whenever I post an entry? But if I leave it alone for a week at a time, the numbers start to climb again. Do people just like to be ignored? I can't even.

Would you pay good money for de-shelled hard-boiled eggs? Somebody in Oregon would like that answer to be yes. I couldn't help but take a picture of this when I saw it in the store today. Please, people, don't let The Man take away your power to boil! He's already slicing your apples for you.

Peeling hard boiled eggs is a huge pain in the butt, but I would never pay extra to have it done for me (unless I was in a rush to make some egg salad, or my hand is broken, or something along those lines).

Date: 2011-10-17 08:47 pm (UTC)I would be oddly dubious about shelled HB eggs.
I could see selling premade easter eggs. But honestly, HB eggs are stupid-easy to make. =)
