Up until yesterday, I thought this guy Gordon Ramsay was a race car driver. It turns out he's a chef on one of those food shows. Anyway, yesterday I saw a video of his technique for scrambled eggs. I made them this morning to rave reviews. So I'm like, hmm! Cooking food that actually tastes good! Perhaps this is an idea whose time has come here in the St. Gulik household.
My next inspiration: this video for meatballs. I like how he doesn't use pork sausage, which I'd previously thought was a requirement.

He is rather famous for telling failing restaurant owners what for (and in the UK version they don't even bleep that) try an episode of the US version of 'Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmare' on youtube. Hilarious.

I know, I was like, "Who IS this imposter, and what have you done with the REAL Gordon Ramsey????"
But having grown up in a family that bred English bulldogs, as soon as I saw that he owned one I knew that he's really all crust and bluster on the outside but really a marshmallow on the inside... LOL

Date: 2011-11-06 11:27 pm (UTC)Bloody hell. I now question my sanity.
It was when he first became popular in the UK and he had so much energy and didn't suffer fools gladly - I liked that.
Now I just think he's a twat.
