At home in the Japanese Garden

Last week, for our 23rd wedding anniversary, my groom and I took the day off and drove to San Francisco. We're there so often, we didn't go with a specific destination or purpose in mind. Eventually, we found ourselves in Golden Gate Park and heading for the Japanese Garden. I've never been there - never been interested, to tell the truth. From the pictures, the place looks like a tourist trap.
Now that I've been ... well, it still feels like a tourist trap, albeit a very, very beautiful one. And calm. And quiet. And ... someplace I'd like to sneak into and pitch a tent some day. See my slideshow on my Flickr page and you'll know what I mean.
My fave picture. Shouldn't all of life's pilgrims try and stay on the path?
