pre-Deathly Hallows checklist

Well, I took matters into my own hands. Groom is coming with me to the 2D-version of the show Friday night, because I just bought his ticket. And now friends are joining us! Time to make a list.

• Fandango tickets

• Money for popcorn

• Chocolate to smuggle in

• Black Sharpie for drawing Dark Mark or Deathly Hallows symbols on my friends' arms

• Picture of Dark Mark for reference

• Packs of tissue. Enough to pass around.

What am I forgetting?

I don't know if you wear mascara or not... but make sure it's waterproof. And you may want to go easy on beverages beforehand and during, so you don't have to pee just when things are getting interesting. I always make a "pre-emptive" visit to the loo just before the feature starts.

Excellent suggestions! You just have to take a pre-emptive pee before a good movie. It's crucial.

Perhaps some SS/HG fanfiction to pass the time while you wait for the previews and to cheer you after the show? My son says if I am going to be silly and cry he isn't sitting next to me.

I haven't gotten up the nerve to tell my friends I read fanfic yet. Though this crowd might understand, come to think about it.
