Lots of people left comments, debating specific merits of books vs. movies and Pottermore, etc. I enjoyed them all because they've given me so much to think about.

In personal news, I'm aching for a vacation. Who's with me? No poll; just leave a comment telling us where your favorite vacation spot is, and what makes it the best. We'll all bask for a moment or two in each place. I'll start.

your vacation spot sounds amazing.

i too am aching for a vacation. i want to go to hawaii, for some reason, but i've never been there, and really any beach would do.

my favorite vacation spot - that would be the entire country of italy, lol. there's not necessarily a particular spot there that i love over all others. i just love being there where the culture has been steeped and aged until it's just right, where the food is so delicious and the people are so beautiful, lol. there is a thing that happens when i am there, where this tightly coiled spring inside me just unwinds itself and i can relax and breathe deeply in a way that is different than anywhere else. plus, it gives me a chance to practice my incredibly rusty italian. ;)
