I'm sure none of you were ever so deranged as to willingly adopt more than one pet at a time! ;D We have three dogs, and sometimes it's a little overwhelming. If it's not the smell of the furniture, it's the need to play mediator to doggie politics. Or, as happened at 4:00 this morning, dealing with one of them hurling on the carpet. Twice.

I cleaned it to the best of my ability before the whole exercise gave me an upset stomach too, and I retired to the opposite end of the house to sleep a little more. When my husband got up, he got all concerned for me, all bundled up on a futon. I had a wastebasket near my head, just in case, and I had two of the three dogs plastered to my side, with the sick one near by. It's better to be miserable amidst your pack than miserable all alone. Every dog knows this. I didn't mind. They're my kids.

Anyway, he did a second cleaning and then performed some sort of arcane, smell-reducing trick on the carpets with baking soda and the vacuum cleaner. All is well again. I'm at the computer at last, and I'm even drinking coffee. The sick dog is under the table. I think she'll be okay. She just needs time to nap it off.

I saw this on Tumblr yesterday. It is literally the first cosplay costume I have ever coveted. Why have I never learned to sew clothing? Now I'm questioning all my life choices.

Speaking of Iron Man, we're hoping to see Age of Ultron this weekend. Have heard mixed reviews, so we've adjusted our expectations downward.

I was pleased with Age of Ultron. We saw it Thursday night and enjoyed ourselves. At the time it seemed really long but that was probably because we had a show time of 9:30!

3 cats - 2 which adopted us and stay outdoors as our 'indoor' cat can't stand either of them.

I totally understand (having stepped in a wet hairball at too early o'clock in the morning).

Eep! I hope the doggy feels better today. And you too! ♥

We adopted all three cats at different times - which makes us the biggest idiots on the planet. And throwing up? Our orange cat LIVES to puke. Every carpet we have is destroyed. Now he's decided to pee anywhere - so our laminate has to be cleaned constantly. Ah, the joys of owning a disgruntled, bitter cat.

I'm so sorry you are feeling bad. I hope it's a 24 hour thing and you'll be right as the jolly old tomorrow. Love and gentle hugs!

Avian politics make canine politics seem downright amicable. Mikey and Hobbes get along great, but Hobbes doesn't like Max because Mikey makes goo-goo eyes at him all the time and treats him like a rock star, so Hobbes gets steamed and flies after Max, so I can't let them all out in the same room at the same time... at least not at this time of year (breeding season).

Whew! Sounds like a rough morning. We've been thinking about getting a doggie for a while now. But then we keep hearing stories like this. ;)

I'm afraid I know nothing about Iron Man, but that costume is awesome!
