Belated Mother's Day gift

My daughter and her friends made coffee cups for their mothers. Yesterday I received my belated Mother's Day gift! My camera absolutely can't do it justice, but here:



She made note of my fascination with Chinese culture. On one side is a branch with cherry blossoms, and on the other side she painted Chinese lanterns and the word "Mother". At least, I sincerely hope it says Mother.

That is gorgeous and it most certainly says 'Mother' (source: I have a degree in Chinese). Your daughter is very talented! I wouldn't be able to write or paint anything that beautiful on a piece of paper, let alone on a mug! :D x
