PuffinCam made me go "Awwwww!" The bears must have been busy elswwhere. Thanks for sharing; I have empty nest syndrome now that the eaglets from the EagleCam have fledged.
Does the fact that I like to view other beings while they are unaware of it make me a stalker? Perhaps that is why one of the eaglets first pooped on the camera lens, and after the rain cleared that up, and they became more mobile, one of them landed on the camera itself, changing its angle so that we could not see into the nest. They were just tired of the damned paparazzi.
That sounds about right. They couldn't get rid of you voyeurs any other way than through outright destruction.
I, too, am a nature webcam fan. I used to watch an owl webcam obsessively. There was a family with special owl birdhouse in their back yard. They had originally installed a webcam for their own viewing pleasure, but as the owlets hatched and grew, their little webpage soon turned into a popular site. Elementary school classes all over the world would write in and pose questions, which the family would scramble to answer. They became quite the owl experts in the process!
