Eagerly, I clicked on an article in the SF Chronicle because it was entitled The Goal is a Lemon in Every Plot.

Only to realize, it was about planting lemon trees, literally. Disappointed.

In other news, fanfic slang seems to have taken over my cognitive functions. I need help. Send in the Marauders!

*snorffles*

That's okay... I referred to something the other day as Muggle without realizing it.

My husband - "Did you just say... Muggle?"

I blinked. "What are you talking about?"

"You said I looked like a Muggle in these clothes."

o_O

Scared myself there.

LOL - Oh, that awkward moment when you say something HP-related out loud, and people give you weird looks. Sometimes I accidentally label them their likely House affiliations. My coworkers hate this.

Not my co-workers (I'm lucky enough to work by myself), but I do it to my family.

Son - Slytherclaw
Husband - PURE Gryffindor
Me - Slytherpuff

We represent. ;)

And yeah, it is embarrassing when I do that around non-HP people. They give you that look that says, "Yeeeahhhh, you're one apple short of the funny farm, aren't you?"

I should really explore this half-and-half House psychology. I am probably a Ravenpuff myself, and my husband is a Gryffinpuff. That's why we get along - our latent 'puff tendencies.

How boring. I think your first instincts were spot on! There should be lemons in every plot.

Speaking of which, DMuse is pushing LML... I guess I'd better get busy...

Hey, you do your part to ensure lemons in every plot. By the way, be sure and thank DMuse from me for the vibrating lemon in the Christmas fic!

All the time I was writing that, I kept thinking of you saying, "Only You would put a mutual masturbation scene in a fluff fic." That brought me a lot of smiles.

This latest chapter seems to have brought a lot of joy as well. I've never had such reviews as I've had for this fic. It's amazing. I've had reviews that, well, they have been so beautiful they've moved me to tears.

I know! I've been digging the comments. I'm embarrassed about "grow and pair." ::cringe::

The thing is, I had just looked through the chapter one last time, and the funny thing is that the mods didn't catch it, either! I was making their changes (only 4 little ones), and read over that part and still didn't catch it! So don't feel bad. Three separate proofs and no one caught it! lol

Snerk.

I often wish I could have a poster at work saying I'm not a hufflepuff, and for people to realise what it meant

<-- I have this Remus Lupin pic on my desktop wallpaper at work. Nobody knows who he is! That's why I need you people so much.

If it was a fandom site you may have fared better. But a major newspaper..no...it's going to be about lemons.

I thot SF was too cold for citrus fruit..

Nah. Well, SF itself is probably too cold, but the rest of the Bay Area gets warm enough for citrus.

LOL!

When I was working for a nutritional supplement manufacturer, I once confirmed an order for Veritaserum instead of Vita Saurus kids vitamins.

The client knew exactly what I was talking about.

This cracked me up - I can see myself doing something like that!

We've all got it bad, I'm afraid!

That's one of the best reasons to have a nice big flist - nobody in my life understands but you people.
